Healthy As Pets is New Zealand-owned and operated and grew out of our love for all animals. As veterinarians working in New Zealand, we are passionate about ensuring your pets have access to the best health and welfare available.
To us, a healthy animal is one that has all of its five freedoms of welfare met, through access to the following:
- Food & water
- Shelter
- Medical care
- Exercise
- Love and understanding
That is why we hope to meet most of your needs right here.
As stewards for our much loved four-legged companion, we can all make the greatest difference in their lives. We understand the special bond between pets and their owners, and we want to encourage that kind of love in everyone.
Brandy Wickham
Brandy trained as a veterinarian at Massey University in New Zealand, earning Distinction on graduation. She and her husband own a veterinary clinic in the idyllic beachside town of Whangamata. They have two busy young daughters, and juggle an ever-shifting menagerie of pets.
Healthy As Pets was born out of a desire to provide affordable flea and worm treatments while raising a family. The business has grown from there, with hopes to provide more services for people and their four-legged friends.
